Today at Enrich we were making murals we did them on a piece paper, we drew and put photos on the paper. We did it to look like we wanted it to if we painted it on a wall. My group did it about all the kiwi icons and food. In the middle we had a pic of the water tower and around it we had Tim Shadbolt, tiki and koro, we also had lots of kiwi words like bro, Invercargill and Southland. I think the best bit was our slogan we did "we've got the paua" way better than our old one Invergiggles don't you think.

Hello! My name in Mia and I'm back for my final year of Enrich and Primary. I am 10 years old and I love to dance. I go to Saint Theresa's School Invercargill 4 days a week but on Mondays it's a little bit different. I go to a place called ENRICH! A place for gifted kids. Here I have met many new friends and developed my talents and also found more talents such as my loud performers voice. I hope to hear from all my blog readers in the comments bit. Only nice ones though please. Bye from Mia

First day back for term 3. Wow 2 terms gone - 2 more to go. Today we did
a high interest station. I chose to do a tessellations. It all started off with a square grid and some squiggly lines. The pictures and the lines all have to be the same otherwise it won't turn out like it's suppose to. We looked at some photos of tessellations by M C Escher - they we really good. He also did optical illusions. It also appeared that he liked lizards. When I did mine, it looked like a rooster. Some of the rules of a tessellation is the same pattern over and no overlapping.
